BYNRIE played at the reception for the inaugural Minnesota Plein Air Collective's exhibit at the beautiful Villa Maria in Frontenac. Our mentors Sherry and Don Ladig even made the trip to play keyboard and flute with us.

A few BYNRIE players demonstrated the spirit of mixing traditions, incorporating "Yiddish Echos" into our Irish rotation.

The residents of Greenhouse Village invited us for a performance as the Twin Cities began to poke its head out from the COVID restrictions.

Due to COVID we had to cancel several shows and shutter for a while. During the lockdown, several of our members took solace in the Keegan's Learners Zoom sessions. Unfortuneatly, the pandemic saw Keegan's Irish Pub close.

We prepped for our 2020 Saint Patrick season with a set at the Underground Music Cafe. It was our last performance before the pandemic.

BYNRIE will perform a 1-hour concert at the Saint Anthony Park Lutheran Church of traditional Irish music written and arranged by Sherry Ladig. Medleys of hornpipes, reels, and jigs contrast with sweet and melancholy airs. Instrumentation includes Irish bohdran and penny whistle in addition to mandolins, mandolas, guitars, and bass. The concert is free, but we gladly accept free-will donations and will host a silent auction to support future collaboration between Sherry Ladig and the Minnesota Mandolin Orchestra.

BYNRIE performs the prelude and offertory for St Patrick's Day Mass at the Cathedral of St Paul. A replica of St. Peter's in Rome, this 1915 beaux-arts church features a copper dome, rose window, and a replica of Michelangelo's Pieta.
Mass begins at 9:30; BYNRIE will begin playing at 9:10. It's a popular service, with a variety of Irish songs by the children's choir and bagpipes as well.

BYNRIE performs at the opening reception for "Salon Alla Prima," an exhibit of paintings by members of Outdoor Painters of Minnesota at The Gallery at Zeller Studio, 1421 Mainstreet in Hopkins. Come and enjoy beautiful paintings by Minnesota artists, traditional Irish tunes, appetizers and wine from Parley Lake Winery.

Come to Can Can Wonderland and dance and listen to traditional Irish tunes, jigs, hornpipes, reels, O'Carolan classics, as well as locally composed Irish-inspired music played on mandolins and guitar by members of the Minnesota Mandolin Orchestra.
